“We have remained non-violent in our agitations for Biafra republic since 1999; we have never been involved or arrested for committing any crime.
“And we have no plane or agenda to go into violent agitation, we are not terrorist group, we don’t kidnap,” he said.
“We are peace loving pro-Biafra group that believe that Biafra republic can only be achieved without gunshot or shielding of blood.
“Our national leader Chief Ralph Uwazuruike has gone far with the United Nations (UN) to ensure that Biafra is created out of Nigeria in the shortest possible time,” he said.
Earlier, a member of the elder’s council, Rev. Linus Ihuanya, urged the group to remain resolute and committed to the vision of the national leader.

“I enjoin you to carry on especially with the mobilization you have started assuring you that your sacrifices to the struggle will not go in vain,” he said.
