COVID-19 cases in Nigeria increased by 64 on Wednesday.
According to the latest statistics from the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), the total number of infections in the country now stands at 166,982.
Nigeria recorded 102 on Tuesday, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Ten states reported 64 new cases.
Yobe (18), Lagos (16), Delta (10), Katsina (7), Gombe (5), Edo (2), Kano (2), Rivers (2), Kaduna (1), and Kwara (1) are the states.
A total of 2,180,444 individuals did a test for COVID-19.
On Wednesday, 69 of the patients were discharged after recovering from the infection, added the NCDC.
There have been 163,328 recoveries from the virus and 2,117 deaths.
In addition, the report noted that a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre, activated at Level II, coordinates national response activities.
