Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) will host 2025 Chief Marketing Officers Forum on August 28, bringing together top business and marketing leaders at Radisson Blu, Victoria Island, Lagos.
With the theme: “Growth, Governance and G-AI: The New Trinity for the Nigerian CMO”, the forum is a transformation platform to equip marketing executives with the tools to lead ethically, profitably, and with vision in an AI-driven business landscape.
The event will open with a keynote address from Olufemi Williams, former group managing director of Chams and founder of Newwaves Ecosystem. Williams is expected to draw from his experience in governance, leadership, and digital innovation to set the tone for deliberations.
Business leaders, including Alfred Okugbeni, managing director of Nigerian Sinotrucks; David Okeme, chief executive of Up Digital; and Stanislaus Martins, president of Association of Digital Marketing Professionals of Nigeria, will lead discussions on Role of the Chief Marketing Officer.
Conversations will centre on balancing growth, governance, and disruptions brought by AI.
Beyond the keynote and panel session, the forum will feature masterclasses and breakout sessions covering AI-powered marketing innovations, regulatory and governance trends, customer experience, and strategies for sustainable brand growth.
ADVAN has also confirmed strategic partnerships with the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria, the Institute of Directors (IoD), and leading AI organizations, underscoring the forum’s role in shaping forward-looking marketing leadership.
According to ADVAN, the CMO Forum is “far more than a conference” but a strategic transformation hub for Nigeria’s marketing industry, where leaders can build capacity to drive growth while upholding governance and ethical responsibility.
