The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Has Dealt A Major Blow To The Criminal Network Of Notorious Bandit Kingpin, Babaro, With A Precision Airstrike On His Stronghold At Pauwa Hill In Kankara Local Government Area Of Katsina State.
According To A Statement Signed By The Katsina State Commissioner For Internal Security, Nasir Muazu, The Operation, Conducted Between 6:00 P.M. And 7:00 P.M., Successfully Rescued 76 Kidnapped Victims, Including Women And Children, Who Had Been Held Captive By The Gang.
Among Those Freed Were All The Victims Abducted During The Recent Deadly Attack On Gidan Mantau In Malumfashi Local Government Area. Tragically, One Child Was Confirmed Dead During The Ordeal.
“The Precision Air Interdiction Specifically Targeted Babaro’s Notorious Base At Pauwa Hill, Which Has Long Been A Source Of Terror To Surrounding Communities,” The Statement Read.
The Commissioner Noted That The Breakthrough Reflects Renewed Momentum In Security Operations Across Katsina, Describing The Strike As Part Of A Wider Strategy To Dismantle Criminal Hideouts, Disrupt Bandit Networks, And Restore Confidence Among Citizens.
