
Mission:
- Provide network support service that will ensure network availability.
- Perform network optimization to improve network quality and implement new service and features in the network.
Description:
- Improve network performance KPIs
- Ensure adherence to MTN code of conduct
- Support network BCM coordination
- Manage vendor SLA and evaluations
- Manage WLA between the HLSDCG team and other internal stakeholder e.g. Core Planning team
- Support timely rollout of key projects in the core network space.
- Manage and oversee activities of HLS and DCG Teams
- Ensure appropriate Software correction level is maintained across the network.
- Ensure Process and procedures are updated
- Coach and train the team to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the department, awareness of set targets/requirements and regularly review their training needs.
- Review performance of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.
Education:
- First degree in Elect/Elect, Computer Sc./Engineering or Project Management
- A relevant Master’s degree could be an advantage.
- Fluent in English
Experience:
6 – 13 years’ experience which includes:
- Experience working in a communications industry
- Experience in maintain and support of Core network elements
- Good working experience in operations background in Telecommunications.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
