Overview
- We’re seeking a Security Incident & Problem Management Specialist to lead the end-to-end management of security incidents, from detection and reporting through to resolution and post-incident review.
- This role is critical in minimizing business impact, ensuring effective coordination across internal teams and third parties, and driving timely root cause analyses RCA.
- The ideal candidate will have strong incident handling skills, a solid understanding of ITIL processes, and the ability to deliver actionable insights to improve future resilience.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of security incidents, from detection and escalation to resolution.
- Coordinate with multiple teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely resolution of incidents.
- Adhere to internal processes and SLAs for incident handling and reporting.
- Drive the timely creation and delivery of Root Cause Analysis RCA reports.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and ensure lessons learned are captured and implemented.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements and preventive measures.
- Track incident trends and provide recommendations to strengthen security posture.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications:
- 3-year IT-related degree mandatory.
- GCIH, ECIH, and ITIL certifications required.
Experience:
- 7–10 years of experience running incident management programs in complex enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams and manage third-party escalations.
- Experience producing RCA reports and facilitating post-incident review meetings.

- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage critical situations effectively.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices and continuous improvement principles.
