The 2026 Curtis Cup is right around the corner, and on Tuesday, the USGA announced 12 players who were invited to a practice session ahead of the biennial bout.

The USGA Teams Selection Committee invited players to Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles, site of the 2026 Curtis Cup, for a three-day practice session on Jan. 16-18. Four of the players invited were on the 2024 U.S. team that fell to Great Britain & Ireland last year at Sunningdale.

The 12 players invited are: Anna Davis, 19 (Auburn, class of 2027), Kary Hollenbaugh, 21 (Ohio State, class of 2026), Jasmine Koo, 19 (USC, class of 2028), Chloe Kovelesky, 18 (Wake Forest, class of 2028), Farah O’Keefe, 20 (Texas, class of 2027), Macy Pate, 20 (Wake Forest, class of 2027), Catherine Park, 21 (USC, class of 2026), Kiara Romero, 19 (University of Oregon, class of 2027), Andie Smith, 22 (Duke, class of 2026), Asterisk Talley, 16 (high school class of 2027), Kelly Xu, 21 (Stanford, class of 2026) and Avery Weed, 20 (Mississippi State, class of 2027).

Davis, Koo, Park and Talley were members of the 2024 USA Curtis Cup Team. Talley, then 15, went 2-1-1 and had a singles victory over then-No. 1 amateur Lottie Woad. Additionally, Park and O’Keefe recently competed for Team USA at the Women’s World Amateur Championship in Singapore, where they won gold. Romero is the No. 1 amateur in the world and McCormack Medal winner.

The final roster will be comprised of eight players. An invitation to the Curtis Cup practice session does not guarantee selection to the team. Players not invited will also be considered for inclusion on the team.

One of the notables missing from the invitees is 2025 U.S. Women’s Amateur champion Megha Ganne, a senior at Stanford who is exempt into the 2026 U.S. Women’s Open at Riviera, only a couple miles from Bel-Air, the week before. If she remains an amateur, she’s a shoo-in to be on the team, but Ganne may turn pro after her college career at Stanford ends in May.

The 44th Curtis Cup will be held June 12-14, 2026, at Bel-Air, which also hosted the 2023 U.S. Women’s Amateur.
