Manager – HLS and DCG at MTN Nigeria

Mission:

  • Provide network support service that will ensure network availability. 
  • Perform network optimization to improve network quality and implement new service and features in the network. 

Description:

  • Improve network performance KPIs
  • Ensure adherence to MTN code of conduct
  • Support network BCM coordination 
  • Manage vendor SLA and evaluations 
  • Manage WLA between the HLSDCG team and other internal stakeholder e.g. Core Planning team
  • Support timely rollout of key projects in the core network space.
  • Manage and oversee activities of HLS and DCG Teams 
  • Ensure appropriate Software correction level is maintained across the network.
  • Ensure Process and procedures are updated
  • Coach and train the team to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the department, awareness of set targets/requirements and regularly review their training needs.
  • Review performance of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.

Education:

  • First degree in Elect/Elect, Computer Sc./Engineering or Project Management
  • A relevant Master’s degree could be an advantage.
  • Fluent in English

Experience:

6 – 13 years’ experience which includes:

  • Experience working in a communications industry
  • Experience in maintain and support of Core network elements
  • Good working experience in operations background in Telecommunications.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
