Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Support Officer to lead the Corporate Services function and ensure smooth coordination of administrative, human resources, operational, and corporate activities within the organization.
- The successful candidate will act as a central liaison across departments, provide executive and HR support, and contribute to the effective execution of corporate initiatives and services.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Coordination:
- Lead and oversee the Corporate Services team to ensure efficient delivery of administrative, HR, and support services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies, processes, and procedures for effective corporate service delivery.
- Coordinate cross-departmental support services to ensure smooth organizational operations
Human Resources Management:
- Manage recruitment processes from job requisition to onboarding.
- Oversee employee engagement, welfare programs, and conflict resolution.
- Supervise performance management systems, ensuring appraisals are conducted and development plans tracked.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and employee relations best practices.
- Coordinate training and development programs aligned with organizational needs
Administrative & Corporate Services Oversight:
- Oversee office administration, travel management, logistics, and vendor relations.
- Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and correspondence control in line with corporate standards.
- Lead the planning and execution of corporate meetings, conferences, and events
- Manage company assets, facilities, and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
Governance, Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, statutory filings, and corporate governance policies.
- Prepare and present reports on corporate services performance, HR metrics, and administrative operations to management.
- Identify risks in corporate service delivery and implement mitigation measure
Process Improvement & Strategic Support:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the corporate services function.
- Provide strategic input to management on organizational development, HR planning, and administrative efficiency
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Management, Social Sciences, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate services, administration, or HR oil & gas sector experience is an added advantage.
- Skills: Strong organizational, multitasking, HR administration, and communication skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, discreet, and able to work effectively under pressure
- Certifications: Professional certifications in HR e.g., CIPM, SHRM or project management are desirable.
