DUTIES:
Field Research Support
- Assist in implementing research protocols and surveys.
- Conduct field visits for data collection, farmer interviews, and sample gathering.
- Support livestock trials and demonstrations.
Data Management
- Enter and clean data using appropriate software e.g. Excel, Kobo Toolbox, SPSS.
- Maintain accurate records of field activities and observations.
- Assist in basic data analysis and reporting.
- Develop and manage databases for research and operational data.
- Ensure data quality through validation, cleaning, and standardization processes.
- Support data collection protocols and tools for field and lab activities.
- Provide technical support for data analysis and visualization.
- Maintain data security and confidentiality in line with ILRI policies.
- Train staff and partners on data management best practices and survey.
- Contribute to publications and presentations through data support.
Logistical Support
- Assist in organizing logistics, including transport and materials.
- Support procurement and inventory of field supplies.
- Perform any other job-related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION:
- HND/BSC in Agricultural Extension, Business Administration or any other related course of study.
- The ideal candidate must have a minimum of three 3 years’ experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.
