
Job Summary
- Our Client Company is seeking a result-driven Sales / Business Development Executive to expand our client base, with a key focus on attracting FMCG companies and other businesses in need of reliable transport and logistics solutions.
- The ideal candidate will identify opportunities, build strong relationships, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential FMCG companies and other businesses that require logistics and haulage services.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to win new clients and grow market share.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed on industry trends.
- Generate leads, prepare proposals, and present tailored logistics solutions to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Negotiate and close contracts that align with the company’s growth goals.
- Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and provide regular reports on business development activities.
- Represent client company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings.
- Follow up on customer feedback to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition, preferably in the logistics or FMCG sector.
- Strong network and knowledge of the FMCG market is an added advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Good understanding of logistics and supply chain solutions.
- Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
