Overview

  • We’re seeking a Security Incident & Problem Management Specialist to lead the end-to-end management of security incidents, from detection and reporting through to resolution and post-incident review.
  • This role is critical in minimizing business impact, ensuring effective coordination across internal teams and third parties, and driving timely root cause analyses RCA.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong incident handling skills, a solid understanding of ITIL processes, and the ability to deliver actionable insights to improve future resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of security incidents, from detection and escalation to resolution.
  • Coordinate with multiple teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely resolution of incidents.
  • Adhere to internal processes and SLAs for incident handling and reporting.
  • Drive the timely creation and delivery of Root Cause Analysis RCA reports.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews and ensure lessons learned are captured and implemented.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements and preventive measures.
  • Track incident trends and provide recommendations to strengthen security posture.

Qualifications
Education & Certifications:

  • 3-year IT-related degree mandatory.
  • GCIH, ECIH, and ITIL certifications required.

Experience:

  • 7–10 years of experience running incident management programs in complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams and manage third-party escalations.
  • Experience producing RCA reports and facilitating post-incident review meetings.

  • Strong incident handling and problem management expertise.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage critical situations effectively.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and continuous improvement principles.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and recommend preventive measures.
