Job Summary
- The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and building document management and collaboration environments using Microsoft SharePoint and related Microsoft 365 technologies.
Key Responsibilities
As a SharePoint Developer / Architect, you will:
- Design, develop, and configure SharePoint Online sites, document libraries, lists, and permission structures.
- Architect logical site and subsite structures tailored to client collaboration needs.
- Create templates and reusable frameworks aligned with client standards.
- Build structured document repositories with retention, metadata, and versioning policies.
- Implement SharePoint Workflows, Power Automate flows, and other automation tools to streamline business processes e.g., approvals, onboarding, content publishing.
- Configure permission groups and user roles using Microsoft 365 Admin Center and SharePoint Admin settings.
- Ensure secure and appropriate data access across departments and with external collaborators.
- Maintain detailed documentation on site configurations, workflows, libraries, and change histories.
- Prepare user manuals and training materials for client teams.
- Integrate SharePoint with Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, and third-party applications.
- Collaborate with Microsoft 365 partners and internal developers to align solutions with client technology stacks.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
- Proven experience developing and configuring SharePoint Online solutions.
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools OneDrive, Teams, Outlook, etc..
- Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and standard SharePoint workflows.
- Ability to create and manage site collections, document libraries, views, lists, and metadata.
- Solid understanding of SharePoint permissions and group management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently and reporting progress proactively.
- Excellent attention to detail and structured documentation habits.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience supporting remote international teams.
- Familiarity with SharePoint migration tools and best practices.
- Basic understanding of PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration.
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Exposure to compliance features retention policies, audit logs, DLP.
Working Conditions:
- Remote-based role, coordinated through the Nigerian subsidiary.
- Direct project reporting to a UK-based team.
- Must have reliable internet access and a collaborative team spirit.
- Regular updates and check-ins via Teams, WhatsApp, and email.
Compensation
- N100,000 trial month → N300,000 / Month upon successful review.
Trial and Onboarding:
- Initial paid one-month trial to assess technical delivery, reliability, and communication
- Successful completion will lead to long-term integration into client-facing delivery projects
