A Nigerian fashion designer, Samuel Chinecherem Ezeh, has set a world record by creating a robe with the longest sleeves on the garment.
According to Guinness World Records, the sleeves measures an astonishing 51.20 metres (167.97 ft).
The 27-year-old tailor and student of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University outdid global benchmarks, with sleeves longer than both the Statue of Liberty’s height (46.5 m) and an Olympic-size swimming pool (50 m).
Ezeh, who combined his skills as a designer with sheer determination, said his goal is to showcase the robe around the world.
“I wish to take it on a tour to display it in different countries and cities to show the world what it looks like,” he said.
